No. Political contributions aren't tax-deductible as charitable donations. Minnesota's Political Contribution Refund program doesn't apply either, since it only covers state-level candidates and not local races.

Straight to work here in Cambridge. Contributions pay for yard signs, campaign literature and mailers, local advertising, and events where we can meet neighbors face to face. This is a neighbor-funded campaign, and every contribution is tracked and reported under Minnesota campaign finance law. If you check “Cover the Fee,” the extra 3% pays the card processing cost so your full gift reaches the campaign.

Yes. Donated goods and services like printing, food for an event, or supplies are welcome. Under Minnesota law, in-kind gifts count toward the $600 per-person limit at fair market value, and they have to come from individuals rather than businesses. Please contact us first so we can record everything properly.

Absolutely. Your contribution will be recorded under your name as the law requires, but let us know who you're honoring when you donate (an email to Jeremiah@SedlerForMayor.com works) and we'll make sure their memory is part of this campaign.
